Sports Mom Rapport is a podcast and community created to support and connect moms of athletes, hosted by Tara Clapper and Destinee Jordan. Conceived in 2022 to spotlight the often-overlooked stories behind athletes, the show features conversations with sports moms and occasional guest experts, sharing relatable experiences, practical advice, and encouragement. Recent topics include mindset coaching, navigating NIL, and realities of the youth sports industry, all aimed at helping families foster resilience, balance, and positive sports experiences. The hosts emphasize inclusivity, respectful dialogue, and connection, inviting listeners to learn from one another across major podcast platforms.

Our Mission: Excite you to enjoy nutritious recipes, and demonstrate that clean eating can be easy and fun…. all with the purpose of inspiring people to live happier and healthier lives through food. The recipes here on Zest & Finesse are all vegetarian and most of them are fully plant-based. The recipes have been created by Leah and Lily Clapper.

NIL ISLAND – Navigating the NIL Era

In July 2021, college athletes were finally allowed to profit from their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) — and Leah Clapper, a gymnast at the University of Florida, experienced the change firsthand. Determined to “figure out NIL,” Leah grew her social media following to over 85,000, partnered with major brands, and launched the first-ever gymnastics board game.
Through her journey, Leah realized what was missing — community. There was no easy, supportive space for athletes to share NIL experiences and challenges. So, she created one.

Lily was a Level 10 gymnast with Gym America in Ann Arbor, Michigan, training under Claudia Kretschmer and Brian Zook. Originally created for friends, family, and coaches to follow her club gymnastics career, this website now serves as an archive of that time.

Leah partnered with her former coach, Claudia Kretschmer, to design a gymnastics board game and co-founded Shine Creative to bring extra joy to gymnasts nationwide. Shine Creative’s mission is to create experiences that ignite the athlete spirit and help young gymnasts balance sport and life. In November 2021, Leah and Claudia launched Balance Palace – the first gymnastics board game on the market – and the debut was a great success. Explore more at Shine Creative.
